Does God care about our bodies? One common misconception is that our spiritual life is more important than what we do with our bodies. However, in Romans 12:1, we learn that what we do in and with our bodies is an important aspect of our spiritual life. It says, "I appeal to you therefore, brothers (and sisters), by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." When we consider what God has done for us and how He has demonstrated His love through His Son Jesus Christ, it leads us to offer everything we are to Him. A life lived in response to God's mercy is a life where we offer our bodies, and every other aspect of our existence, to God for His glory.
